Get A Glimpse Of ‘American Idol’ Performance Night On Dish Network

Article by Richard Lindholm

Once again it was performance night on ‘American Idol’. If you want to get a little scoop of the show you can read on and get a glimpse of the gala performances. The season 9 of the show is turning out to be a close call as the contenders are being tested with the songs from Elvis Presley. Before the show, the contenders were sent to Adam Lambert for a brief mentoring. With his guidance, the performers poured out the best in them with their versions of Elvis tunes.

We can start with Crystal Bowersox. She has already proved herself as the most potential winner of the title this season. Working on Lambert’s advice, she played on electric guitar in exchange of acoustic guitar. But some DISH TV viewers feel that she is starting to become boring. Do doubt, she sang the song ‘saved’ from Elvis brilliantly but she lacks the vitality and the vigor expected from a million dollar performer! She sang the song standing before the mike and a guitar in hand just like the previous shows. It’s no strange that this time too she got praise for her singing but these too are seemingly boring. It’s sound like a broken record repeatedly being played. Fantastic, amazing, solid are word being poured on her by judges. But whatever be their decisions, some DISH Network viewers are criticizing that she is brilliant to hear but not an exciting performer to watch for.

Next comes Andrew Garcia. He was one of the bottom three contenders of the last week along with Michael Lynche and Aaron Kelley. Some of the viewers of DISH TV believes he will be in the bottom 3 this week too if not voted off. He sang ‘hound dog’ of Elvis but his version of the song was not all touchy. Only Ellen showered some praise on her saying she ‘liked the change’. But another judge Simon said it was a lazy performance.

Tim Urban has been improving consistently and this week is not an exception. Though he never seems to come close to Bowersox or Casey James, this week’s performance of him proved many of the DISH TV viewers wrong. The song ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ was beautifully sung and the touchy voice of him made all emotional. Kara said this to be the best of his performances and Simon told him that he is going from 0 to hero.

The performance of Lee DeWyze was good. Even the judges loved it. But some of the DISH Network viewers feel if he does not bring something new and fresh little chance for him to be saved for the coming episodes.

Aaron Kelley is the next to come. The 16 year old was on the bottom 3 but had got enough votes to secure his position for a week. But some viewers on Satellite TV still believe that he sounds like a kid trying to play the grown up part on the show. His version of the song ‘Blue Suede Shoes’ was not satisfactory. Some DISH TV viewers also want him to be voted off the next week.

Siobhan Magnus overwhelmed all the judges with her amazing vocal. But in spite of her remarkable voice her version of the song ‘Suspicious Minds’ didn’t work. Satellite TV viewers suggest that she has to work hard if she wants to stay in the race

After last week’s huge surprise of Michael’s being voted off and then being saved by the judges, all eyes were upon him. He performed up to the expectation and his version of the song ‘In the Ghetto’ was just amazing! Even Ellen said, “I’m glad we saved you”.

Last week the performance of Katie Stevens was great but this week she just got it all wrong. Her version of the song ‘Baby, what you want me to do’ was hardly any song. Rather it was a much like a loud noise as if jazz band is blaring in the background. Simon described the song as ‘loud and annoying’.

Casey James performed nicely on yesterday’s show. His version of the song ‘Lawdy Miss Clawdy’ was just perfect. However, some DISH Network viewers believe that it was perfect but predictable.

With Michael Lynche being saved by the judges, the result night will see two eliminations! Based on the performance night show, the predications for the bottom 3 can be Andrew Garcia, Katie Stevens and Aaron Kelley. However, you yourself can catch all the excitement of the results day on your DISH Network channel.

FanAxcess.com Game-Changer Music Website – Brings Money Back to Music

FanAxcess.com Game-Changer Music Website – Brings Money Back to Music

Oakland, CA (PRWEB) June 06, 2012

FanAxcess.com, the first and only online platform created to help artists expand their chances to attract advertiser money, is now LIVE. Roberta Flack, M.C. Hammer, D.J. Quik, Livingston Taylor and Marcus Miller…all very different artists and all part of the first wave of musicians to register profiles on FanAxcess.com.

FanAxcess.com is a platform where artists can create a free profile including their social network and fan base statistics. This patent-pending, Internet trading platform allows ad agencies, TV producers, film studios and music tour promoters to find exactly the singer/songwriter/band match for their product or service’s customer demographic needs.

Here’s how it works: an ad agency Creative Director comes to FanAxcess.com to find a country music artist with fans who are men, 18 to 35 years old, and enough income to buy a truck, for example. The agency enters the request and through a process called FanMatch sm, a list of musicians whose parameters match appears. The agency reads about the fans, looks at the musician photos, hears music and video clips, and more. If they like what they see, they contact the artist or their representative through FanAxcess to make a sponsorship deal. The band could get their touring expenses offset by the payment. Money for Music!

FanAxcess provides opportunity from and exposure to ad agencies and brands that few artists now have or can afford to miss. “Let’s face it”, says Suzanne Koga, co-founder of FanAxcess, “Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber don’t need us in order to be found; their phones ring all day. But every other musician in the world is leaving money on the table if they aren’t listed on FanAxcess.”

“Of the $ 20 billion sponsorship market (according to IEG), the Music Industry captures a paltry 13-17%. That is not right!”, asserts Joan Martin, founder & CEO (MBA, Columbia). “We needed to find a way to help artists get the same opportunities to be seen as the same important media channel option as sports and film. Artists have loyal audiences! Advertisers would love to reach them. It’s the discovery process that has been cumbersome to date – not any longer with FanAxcess.com.”

Artists often cite difficulty in reaching the dealmakers, and in the past, the dealmakers have had difficulty finding measurable statistics to gauge a musician’s visibility/viability. Now, it’s easy to see which artist is right to represent a brand, an entertainment property, or a campaign. FanAxcess makes it easy to identify which artists will appeal to the target audience for products. FanAxcess makes music an easy and obvious place for brands to spend their ad and marketing budgets.

With a diverse database of artists, ranging from regional bands (minimum of 1000 social media contacts) to international icons, FanAxcess registration is free to artists. There is no fee to join and maintain a presence in the database. Brands and their agencies pay a fee to search the database, finding accurate matches to maximize their marketing dollars. Brands know instantly whose eyes and ears they are buying when they choose an artist!

Getting To The Root Of Your Root Canal Fears With The Help Of Your Bolingbrook Dentist

Getting To The Root Of Your Root Canal Fears With The Help Of Your Bolingbrook Dentist

Article by Gen Wright

It’s not surprising that a vast majority of patients associate negative thoughts with the mention of a root canal, also known as endodontic therapy. But what many patients fail to recognize is that root canal treatment can actually save your diseased tooth that would otherwise have to be extracted.

There are many misconceptions about root canal treatment, but the more educated you are about root canal therapy and the benefits it offers, the less apprehension you will feel about the procedure. Discuss your fears with your Bolingbrook dentist to dispel the long-standing myths and reduce nervousness you have about the procedure.

What Exactly is a Root Canal?

Located in the center of every tooth is the pulp which provides nutrients to the nerves of each tooth. When a tooth is infected, it can spread to the pulp. If the pulp dies, you are at risk of losing the tooth. This means the pulp will need removed in order to save your tooth. And that’s where root canal therapy comes in. Root canal therapy involves the dentist making a small hole in the tooth to remove the infection, along with the infected nerves and blood vessels located inside the tooth roots. The inside of the roots are then cleaned and shaped, and a tooth-filling material is placed to block infection from the tooth.

Dispelling the Root Canal Reputation

The perception of endodontic therapy being painful started years ago when today’s technologies and anesthetics didn’t exist. Advances in dentistry today have made it possible for a dentist to administer root canal therapy that is no more uncomfortable than having a filling placed. In fact, according to the American Association of Endodontics, a recent survey revealed that patients who have experienced root canal treatment are six times more likely to describe it as “painless” than patients who have not had root canal therapy. Most patients who have root canal experience little or no discomfort or pain, and enjoy a restored tooth that can last almost as long as its healthy original. That’s because when patients go to their dentist with a severe toothache caused by damaged tissues, root canal treatment removes this damaged tissue, thereby relieving the pain you are experiencing

Early Detection for Easy Treatment

Root canals are perfectly preventable with regular flossing, brushing and routine visits with your Bolingbrook dentist. The earlier you identify a diseased tooth, the better your chances of saving and fully recovering the tooth. Look for the following signs and symptoms to detect an infected pulp:

* A broken tooth* A discolored tooth, with or without pain* Sensitivity to cold and heat* Swelling around the effected tooth * Tenderness to touch and chewing

Whether an untreated cavity or a trauma has infected your tooth, you’ll want to see your Bolingbrook dentist right away. When a tooth is severely decayed, root canal therapy is usually the only option for saving the tooth. Talk with your dentist about any fears or doubts you have about the procedure. This can ease any apprehension before the procedure is preformed, and help you feel more comfortable about the treatment. Root canal therapy doesn’t have to be scary if you know what to expect.

This Means War

This Means War 51NQc7sMz%2BL. SL160 This Means War FDR (Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy) are covert CIA operatives and best buddies...until they both fall for charming and sexy Lauren (Reese Witherspoon). Their friendship is put to the ultimate test as they wage an epic battle for her affection, using their surveillance skills and an array of high-tech gadgetry -- may the best spy win!Spy flick meets romantic comedy in this surprisingly entertaining film about two CIA agents who find themselves in competition for the affections of the same beautiful woman. Agents FDR (Chris Pine) and Tuck (Tom Hardy) are accustomed to using whatever means necessary to complete a mission--and that mentality has a tendency to bleed over into their personal lives. The two agents are also close friends, so when they discover they're both dating Lauren (Reese Witherspoon), they enter into a gentleman's agreement that stipulates they not interfere with one other, allow Lauren to choose the best man for her, and walk away from Lauren if seeing her begins to affect the men's friendship. The agreement quickly degenerates into a pissing contest of epic proportions thanks to the men's competitive natures and the arsenal of government resources at their disposal. Oblivious to the rivalry and the high-tech circus going on around her, Lauren desperately tries to figure out which of the two men is right for her. Her married friend Trish (Chelsea Handler) offers plenty of advice, assuring Lauren that just because she's dating two guys at the same time, "You're not going to hell, but if you are, I'll be there to pick you up." What makes this film so good is its perfect blend of high-action spy caper, laugh-aloud humor, and romance--all skillfully delivered by a talented cast. --Tami Horiuchi
