The George Carlin Letters: The Permanent Courtship of Sally Wade
The George Carlin Letters: The Permanent Courtship of Sally Wade A unique illustrated memoir by Sally Wade, the love of George Carlin’s life for ten years, THE GEORGE CARLIN LETTERS: THE PERMANENT COURTSHIP OF SALLY WADE is a collection of never-before-seen writings and artwork by the late great comedian (representing at least 1/3 of the text in the book), woven into Wade’s beautifully told chronicle of the last ten years of their life together. The book provides a rare glimpse into the man behind the legend. George Carlin wrote to Sally daily—notes, postcard, letters…he even started fights on paper; the title is taken from his very last note, which Sally found propped up on her computer upon returning from the hospital the day he died. One of the greatest love stories ever told…hilariously, until the release of this book, no one but Sally has ever seen this side of George Carlin. And everyone is guaranteed to fall in love with both of them.

George Carlin: It’s Bad For Ya
George Carlin: It's Bad For Ya
- In his 14th HBO special and final concert appearance, Carlin ruminates with unapologetic irreverence on the touchy subjects of life, religion and even death ( Picture your grandmother in Hell baking pies without an oven. ) Unbowed and unmellowed at the ripe old age of 70, Carlin flame roasts such sacred cultural cows as Lance Armstrong, Tiger Woods, Betty Ford, overprotected children, patriotism,
For this unprecedented 14th HBO special, Carlin once again comes up with an hour of brand new material that not only makes you laugh, but makes you think.
George Carlin will always remain part of the popular lexicon for his "Seven Dirty Words" routine, and as a comedian who was never afraid to challenge his audience.

Question relating to George Carlin. What can I do to carry on his work?
I’ve seen George Carlin on Youtube quite a bit and what he ranted on about American politics/culture really inspired me to think more about how I view society today. There are so many things about today’s world that upsets and disgusts me. Besides using the knowledge I have, doing research, and watching the news, how can I do what George Carlin did?
